High-tech geological exploration company
Kazgeology JSC is a high-tech geological exploration company. It implements state programs for the prospecting and evaluation of strategic mineral deposits in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
By Resolution of the Government of the RK No. 684 dated 21 June 2011, Kazgeology JSC was established as a high-tech geological exploration company of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
By Resolution of the Government of the RK No. 971 dated 30 December 2021, a decision was made to transfer the company’s shares to Samruk-Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund JSC.
By Order of the Chairman of the State Property and Privatization Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the RK No. 650 dated 8 September 2023, 100% of the company’s shares were transferred to the ownership of Samruk-Kazyna SWF JSC.
Under Agreement No. 1707-I dated 14 September 2023, 100% of the voting shares of Kazgeology JSC were transferred from Samruk-Kazyna SWF JSC to Tau-Ken Samruk NMC JSC.
The sole shareholder of Kazgeology JSC is Tau-Ken Samruk NMC JSC. 100% of the Company’s voting shares are owned by Tau-Ken Samruk NMC JSC.
Tau-Ken Samruk NMC JSC is part of Samruk-Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund JSC and consolidates investment activities in the solid minerals sector.
